1 Corinthians 10:12-15 says, “If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. So, my dear friends, flee from the worship of idols. You are reasonable people. Decide for yourselves if what I am saying is true.” – NLT
God established protective boundaries for those He’s called to coach soccer as a ministry. He does this because He knows the dangers of our being disobedience and in the ways, we are affected by our sinful natures. When tempted and we sin by unkind words spoken to our players, referees or shouting a crushing word of disparagement, we fail to use those boundaries God provides. Could we have mentioned one kind word, it would have made a difference? God tells us not to give into the devil or other people tempting but follow Jesus and stand firm from sinning. Through the understanding of knowing more about the Bible and how to apply it, we sort our lives and become the persona God creatively planned for us.
In contrast to a direction, the devil has for us, and we are to be filled with Biblical integrity and not the stupidity of the world. In today’s culture, the devil whispers lying words drag us away from God’s path to a pathway of self-gratification always being right is just what the devil wants and that destroys the witness Christ desires for us. His tempting’s are designed to ruin our character distance us for God, and the wonderful plans He has for us. I’ve concluded, that a steady flow high-quality faithful coaching using God’s standards will endure the world’s standards. When the devil’s murmurs in your spirit and about your self-desires should be first, listen to what God wants you to hear, and what His words from the Bible speak to what is right. The devil will persist, but when you daily study the Bible the promise that God has for you will combat the devil’s craziness.
We may try many different ways to sort out our lives, but when we focus on growing a deep faith relationship with the Lord, believing His promises are right, our coaching and life decision becomes more apparent than ever before that Jesus is the only way. By obeying His words, our focus on being a person of integrity will increase when we allow the Holy Spirit to control us rather than we manage ourselves. It’s only through our daily growing relationship with Christ are we able to battle sin, get forgiveness to do the game the way He designed it for us. When we please Him, we encounter great blessings and receive tremendous pleasure out of firming up your coaching based on His Biblical purposes.
